Key facts
- A 4–6 week bathroom remodel usually bills two 28-day cycles.
- Keep the unit on your property, in shade if possible.
- Billing stops the day you call for pickup.
- Mention low cable lines and dogs when you book.
Do I need a porta potty for my bathroom remodel?
If the bathroom is torn out or the water is off for more than a few days, yes. A porta potty keeps the crew out of your house and gives your family a backup. One homeowner in our call log was redoing a bathroom over 4–6 weeks with no water to it, and rented for the crew and himself.
“They're going to redo the bathroom, and it's going to take a while, and there's not going to be any water to it.”

Where should the unit go at my house?
Put the unit on a flat spot inside your property line, ideally shaded until late afternoon, with the door away from the street. The service truck must reach it every week. Valley heat makes a sunny unit smell faster, so shade is worth a few extra steps.

Questions callers asked us
Do I have to pay for a full month if I only need it two weeks?
Usually yes, and it is the cheaper option. Jobsite units bill in 28-day cycles with weekly cleaning included. A weekly rate costs more per day because the delivery and pickup trips still happen. Call for pickup the day the work ends and billing stops that day.
Can it go at the end of the street instead of my yard?
Keep it on your own property. If a city inspector sees a unit in the street or right-of-way, the rental company gets a call. Place it just inside your property line, on a flat spot, ideally in shade.
Will it smell in McAllen heat?
Heat speeds up odor, and Valley afternoons regularly pass 100°F in summer. Keep the unit in shade if you can, turn the vent away from seating, and keep weekly service. Busy summer jobsites should add a second service visit. One caller put it plainly: as the week goes on, heat makes it progressively worse.
I have low-hanging cable wires over my driveway. Is that a problem?
Tell dispatch when you book. Drivers note low cable and internet wires, then call before arrival so you can guide them in. If the truck can't clear them, the crew sets the unit by hand truck from the street side.
I have a dog on the property. What should I do?
Secure pets before the delivery window. Drivers have to walk past fences and gates to set the unit, so a dog inside the house or a closed run keeps everyone safe.
How do I end a long-term rental?
Call or text dispatch at (956) 396-3589. Long-term units are not picked up automatically, so billing continues until you request pickup. Billing stops on the day you call, and the unit is collected within 1–2 business days.
